Handcrafted with a beautiful balance of purifying clays and calming botanicals, expect all of the benefits of a traditional clay mask – but without the over-drying effects that can cause skin imbalance. Ingredients like natural clay and activated charcoal work to remove impurities and minimize oil production, while colloidal oats, chamomile and zinc oxide calm & soothe inflamed pustules. 

For a clarified complexion, use this mask 1-2 times per week. Create a paste by starting with about ½ tbsp of the mask and mix with about ½ tsp of your liquid of choice until you reach your desired consistency. It’s best to start with less liquid and add more as needed. Apply paste to clean face and let dry (10-15 minutes). Remove by rinsing with warm water.

Activated Charcoal // Charcoal that has been treated with oxygen to create more active regions that chemically bind with toxins (hence why it is called “activated” charcoal!). When applied topically, activated charcoal sticks to and pulls out dirt, oil and toxins - providing a deep cleanse that helps minimize and prevent clogged pores.

Hibiscus Flowers // Called the “natural botox plant” because if its firming and lifting properties, hibiscus is high is naturally occuring alpha-hydroxy acids. AHAs exfoliate, promote cell renewal and help prevent breakouts. Hibiscus is also high in water-soluble antioxidants, which help fight off damage-causing free-radicals and promote a healthy complexion. Our hibiscus is certified organic.

French Green Clay // Mined from bedrock quarries in France, this clay is untreated, sun dried and 100% natural. It contains tons of beneficial minerals like silica, magnesium, calcium, iron, and montmorillonite. Traditionally, this type of clay is said to have the ability to absorb toxins and impurities, and to soothe sores and wounds when applied topically.

Rose Petals // Rose petals have anti-bacterial properties and contain antioxidants to protect skin from aging environmental stressor. Our rose petals are certified organic.

Chamomile Flowers // Small but mighty, chamomile is high in flavonoids, terpenoids, oxides, and azulenes (chamazulene is what gives the essential oil its beautiful blue color). It is rich in antioxidants, is an antimicrobial, and has antibacterial effects to help clear skin. It is also a powerful skin healer. Our chamomile is certified organic.

Willow Bark // Willow bark contains salicin, a precursor to salicylic acid. When applied topically, salicin has been shown to help reduce the visible signs of aging by gently exfoliating skin, promoting cell renewal and clarifying the skin. It also has antioxidants and works as an antimicrobial. Our willow bark is certified organic.

Sugar Extract // Sugar is a natural source of glycolic acid, an exfoliant that helps slough away dead skin cells to help reveal a brighter, more youthful complexion. Our sugar extract is certified organic.
